DuBois and Associates offers a full range of land use services, including wetland delineations, permitting, and mitigation; CAFRA, Waterfront Development, and Flood hazard area permitting; environmental Impact reporting; and environmental oversight

WETLAND DELINEATIONS & PERMITTING

The presence of freshwater wetlands, regulated under the jurisdiction of State and/or the Federal Government, can have a profound impact upon your plans for land development.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORTING

Staff at DuBois and Associates have the proven experience and unique ability to tackle the challenges of project evaluation and impact assessment in order to meet specific regulatory requirements within the framework of accomplishing the desired project goals.

WETLAND AND RIPARIAN ZONE MITIGATION

Today's regulatory climate does not permit significant loss of wetland habitat from construction activities without compensation.  When wetlands are destroyed, construction approvals often require the creation, restoration or enhancement of new wetland habitat in a nearby area as compensation.

LAND USE PERMITTING

DuBois and Associates prepares compliance statements and provides all logistical and technical support to obtain environmental permits under CAFRA, the Waterfront Development Act and the Wetlands Act of 1970.

FLOOD HAZARD AREAS & PERMITTING

The presence of regulated waters and associated floodway, flood hazard area, and riparian buffer can increase the regulated areas on your property and have additional impacts on plans for land development.  These regulated areas are in addition to wetland and wetland buffer areas.

GPS & ESRI ARCMAP GIS SOFTWARE

DuBois and Associates contain state of the art Global Positioning System (GPS) units with high quality antennae that feature sub-foot accuracy.  GPS is used to record pertinent data in the field which is then transferred to ESRI ArcMap Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software for in-office data processing and analysis.

ENVIRONMENTAL & BIOLOGICAL CONSTRUCTION MONITORING

Environmental and biological oversight is performed during various construction operations within and surrounding environmentally sensitive areas.  We ensure that best management practices are adhered to during all phases of field construction operations and that project activities are conducted in a manner that is environmentally sound.
